The special counsel investigating President A over his handling of classified documents released his final report.

President A “willfully retained and disclosed classified materials after his vice presidency,” the special counsel wrote.

The report comes nearly 13 months after the Attorney General picked the special counsel to handle the probe.

Former President B is criminally charged with retaining classified documents after leaving the White House and concealing them from the government.

President A has been accused of willfully retaining and disclosing classified materials after his vice presidency. The Department of Justice special counsel’s final report states that President A kept classified information in notebooks stored in his house and even shared some of it with his ghostwriter for his second memoir. However, the report concludes that no criminal charges are warranted in this matter. This comes in the midst of a presidential race between President A and former President B who is facing criminal charges over classified documents he took with him when he left the White House.
